Pitt Faber-Castell, quite expressive
About 5.000 years ago in China, pigments from black coal were mixed with animal glue.
They were left to dry in the form of small blocks which, when rubbed with water, resulted in a liquid ink, which the artists used in making monochrome paintings, creating textures with strokes in different shades of black and gray. Later, in India, it was used by the masters. When Europe began to import ink from India, it became known as ‘Indian ink’; hence its English name (Indian ink).
Faber-Castell, always innovative, managed to bring together, in one piece, the expressive force of drawing with this ancient technique, and with the versatility and practicality of a modern marker, the incredible PITT artist pen, for the enjoyment of artists, illustrators, architects, designers and all creatives, professionals or amateurs.
For many artists, this marker replaces both ink and pen. Its design allows the ink to be kept in optimal condition and flow smoothly, so it has become a unique tool for the daily work of many of its users.
