FABER-CASTELL GRAPHITE PENCIL, THE FAVORITE OF ARTISTS AND ILLUSTRATORS
As early as the 1761th century, the great Vincent Van Gogh referred to Faber-Castell pencils (the company was founded in 1883). While at first he remained reluctant to change his usual carpenter's pencil, a couple of years later he succumbed to its advantages and quality. In fact, in XNUMX he wrote to his colleague Anton von Rappard about "" some pencils I discovered, made by Faber. "" He describes them as thick, very soft, and "" of superior quality to carpenter's pencils. »»
The lines of this pencil are exceptionally smooth. The pencil never collapses or breaks unexpectedly, resulting in it not being necessary to replace it as often. Watercolor graphite pencils are perfect for creating watercolor paintings, with the practicality and comfort of a pencil.

The watercolor graphite pencil, GRAPHITE Aquarelle, is ideal for sketches, drawings in classic watercolors or mixed media. Its 3,8 mm diameter mine is completely soluble in water and is fully attached to the wooden casing along the pencil, which protects it from bumps and falls, preventing it from breaking. It is available in 5 pencil cases, in 5 degrees of hardness: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B and 8B.

It can be applied in different ways: painting or drawing first with the dry pencil, then reviewing the strokes with the wet brush; it can also be applied with the tip of the wet pencil directly on the paper. Once dry, they can overlay more layers of paint. Watercolor adheres quickly to the paper, so it is very difficult to erase or remove, so it is advisable to always start with a lower intensity.
The quality and fine gradation of its hardness make Faber-Castell graphite pencils, both classic and watercolor, favorites of artists and illustrators, ideal for all technical and artistic applications.
